1. Level the ground
When setting up an inflatable tent, it is important to choose a flat, blunt surface. Avoid setting up on stones, branches or uneven ground to avoid damaging the bottom of the tent or causing uneven force on the air column.
2. Avoid wind
Try to choose a sheltered position to reduce the impact of strong winds on the tent. If possible, build in the shade of trees or buildings.
3. Drainage
Avoid setting up tents in low-lying areas to prevent rainwater accumulation. If used during the rainy season, ensure that there is a certain drainage slope around the tent.
Before starting to build, check whether the tent's air column, tarpaulin, air pump, ground nail, pull rope and other accessories are complete, and ensure that there is no damage or missing. Use hands or tools to clean up the debris in the building area to ensure that the ground is clean and flat. You can lay a layer of waterproof cloth or floor cloth to protect the bottom of the tent.
4. Detailed steps to build
(1) Lay the tarpaulin
Spread the tent canvas flat on the ground, making sure it is smooth and wrinkle-free.
(2) Install the gas column
Insert the air column into the designated position of the tarpaulin according to the instructions. Pay attention to the connection of the air column to ensure it is firm to avoid leakage.
(3) Uniform inflation
Use an air pump or electric inflator to inflate each air column in the number or order of the air column. When inflating, ensure that the air pressure of each air column is uniform and avoid over-inflating or under-inflating any air column.
(4) Fix the tent
After inflating, secure the tent's pull rope to the ground pegs to ensure that the tent is stable. In strong winds, you can increase the number of ground pegs or use sandbags and other heavy objects to reinforce them.
The construction of inflatable tents is not complicated, but mastering the correct skills and methods can greatly improve the construction efficiency and safety of use. Choosing the right site, doing a good job of preparation, uniform inflation, regular inspection, and maintenance are the key to ensuring the stability and durable use of tents.
