There are generally three differences between inflatable tents and ordinary metal frame tents:
1, Weight
Due to the use of iron pipes as supports, metal frame tents are relatively heavy, which inevitably brings difficulties to transportation and movement. Especially for larger tents, more brackets are used, and as the tent area increases, the load-bearing requirements also increase, resulting in an increase in the weight of the brackets. Correspondingly, thicker iron pipes are used, and the weight of the tent also increases.
And inflatable tents, with inflatable keels that can be folded, are obviously lighter in weight compared to ordinary metal tents with iron pipe support structures, making transportation relatively easy.
2, Volume
In terms of tent volume, tents with metal support structures cannot be freely packaged due to the presence of iron pipe supports; And iron pipe supports are generally longer in length, which makes it difficult for slightly smaller vehicles to fit in. Therefore, larger vehicles must be used for their transportation.
And inflatable tents, because they are soft, have inflatable keels, and the air column can be folded freely after deflation; This design allows the tent to be freely folded after use, occupying only a small volume and easily placed in small household vehicles and ordinary vehicles. Convenient transportation.
3, Installation and Demolition
Metal frame tents require multiple people to set up, which takes a long time. The larger the tent, the more personnel are needed, and the longer the time required.
